North Coast Church Climbing Day 

Come join us for great day of rock climbing in the mountains above Idyllwild. This one-day trip is designed for the climber with a strong understanding of climbing basics, as well as for the intermediate climber. This trip will demand a good level of fitness. The approach to this climbing area involves a very steep 45 to 60 minute hike (altitude gain of 1000 feet). We'll have numerous top ropes set over climbs ranging from 5.6 to 5.11a. We'll be reviewing basic knot tying, belaying, and climbing techniques for those climbers who need a refresher. Climbing harnesses, helmets, and belay devices will be provided for those who do not have their own. Climbing shoes are not included. (You will receive a list of vendors who rent climbing shoes once you have signed up.)

When:    Saturday, May 26, 2012, at 6:00am (leaving promptly at 6:15am) till 4pm.
Where:   Idyllwild (meet at North Coast Church, Vista Campus in front of the Edge to join the caravan)
Cost:    $25.00 per person for the day.
Note: If under 18yrs old, must be accompanied by a parent/responsible adult. Must provide own transportation.
