When King Nebuchadnezzar conquered Judah in 605 B.C., his empire was the greatest in the world. He brought educated, young, male Israelites like Daniel back to Babylon to serve in the king's palace. This series focuses on the lessons we can learn from the life of Daniel in choosing to hold fast to your convictions, rather than conforming to the world.
The night King Belshazzar's kingdom fell, God wrote four words on his wall - MENE MENE TEKEL PARSIN, and only one man could interpret the message - Daniel. In Daniel Chapter 5, we learn more about God's message for those who defy God. Pastor Chris talks about the dangers of forgetting that we owe our life and our kingdom to God, and how we mock Him by chasing the things of this world. He gives us three important reminders and encourages us to step out in faith toward where God has been directing us.
